Melissa's love for living an active and healthy lifestyle stems from her own experiences in competitive sport. For 15 years, Melissa played field hockey with the Surrey Sharks Field Hockey Club. Since retiring from competitive field hockey, she also enjoys surfing, snowboarding and hiking.
Melissa used her passion for sport to help channel her education to the field of Kinesiology, graduating from UBC in 2013. She later realized that she wanted to help athletes achieve their maximum performance by becoming a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2016.
Melissa has worked with numerous sports clubs including varsity volleyball, basketball and soccer, high performance tennis and hockey, wrestling, judo, and Aussie Rules football. Her favourite sports team to work with is rugby.
