Dr. Julien R. Payne grew up in Cow Head Newfoundland before pursuing a career in chiropractic. He experienced much success on an athletic level winning provincial titles in three different sports. He represented team Newfoundland on two occasions at hockey’s Atlantic Challenge cup and played Junior A hockey in Yarmouth Nova Scotia. Dr. Payne was chosen as the 2016 recipient of the Andrew Fefferman Memorial Award. He is a contributing author to a paper titled, “The utility of the King-Devick test as a sideline assessment tool for sport-related concussions- A Narrative Review” recently published in the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (December 2016 issue). Dr. Payne offers patient-centered, multi-modal care supported by the latest research.
