In spring 2012 I have acquired the John Barns Myofascial Pelvic Release course and have been utilizing these techniques actively on a daily bases in my current practice. As a past competitive figure skater, I have grown up dealing with multiple sports related injuries and using massage therapy, as well as Osteopathy and Chiropractic, as a means of healing, maintenance and further injury prevention. I have a clear and innate sense of the physical strain during not only injury, but training curves as well. I also currently am in my 14th year coaching skating. I am also a caring and empathetic individual, putting the health and safety of my client and the most effective and helpful modality for their needs as top priority. This will mean I may not always be the best suited to a client and will refer alternative modalities to the best of my ability. I believe very strongly in the body’s natural ability to heal itself and enjoy educating and promoting healthy and happy bodies, minds and spirits.
