Tonya has a diploma in Shiatsu Therapy from the Shiatsu School of Canada & Acupuncture Institute's two-year program. The school blended a strong foundation in the Western sciences (anatomy, physiology & pathology) and Traditional Chinese Medical theory (TCM). She went on to study massage therapy in order to offer her clients treatments as a regulated health professional. A graduate of Algonquin College's Massage Therapy Intensive program, she is an experienced therapist and her unique style incorporates elements of Swedish massage, shiatsu, acupressure and reflexology.
She has treated clients with many issues including: stress and tension, muscle pain and spasm, headaches/migraines, whiplash, neck and shoulder pain, sports injuries, back pain/sciatica, repetitive strain injuries and pregnancy.
