Dr. Alba graduated from Brock University receiving a Bachelor of Kinesiology while playing soccer at a varsity level. Dr. Alba Completed chiropractic education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. At this time he worked for the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) as a medical officer travelling around Canada with high level soccer teams. Oscar is accredited in medical acupuncture and has taken courses in injury prevention and screening. Oscar traveled to 3 different continents representing CMCC at the World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS), where he learned different techniques taught by different colleges around the world.
Dr. Alba uses a mixture of muscle/myofascial release techniques, joint manipulation/adjustments, electrical and non-electrical acupuncture, IFC, and ultrasound to help relieve musculoskeletal pain. He has spend countless hours reading and developing exercise routines and treatment options to help patients with arthritic joints, especially of the hip and knee condition. Oscar uses a unique set of rehabilitation exercises to functionally overcome structural damage.
